how many images can I expect in my gallery?
I never like to give a minimum or maximum amount. But I do promise I deliver all the best images.
when can we expect our gallery to be delivered?
For engagement/bridal sessions you can expect a 3 week turnaround. For wedding photos the turnaround is 6-8 weeks but can vary depending on my work load. I like to take my time going through each image and delivering the best product I can for my clients.
we’re ready to book! what do we need to do?
First of all, YAY!! I AM SO EXCITED!! Secondly, in order for me to save your date, I require a signed contract and 30% of the total wedding package. You can either pay the remaining balance in payments or full, but the services must be paid for in full a week prior to your wedding date.
how do we go about booking our engagement/bridal session?
After we get the deposit paid and the contract signed, email me! We can start picking dates and begin the planning process. Which is super easy and I’m there for you every step of the way. I do only book my sessions Monday-Wednesday’s typically two hours prior to sunset. However, if it’s a studio session or an in home session, those will most likely take place during the part of the day the light is the best! These sessions must be booked 1.5 months before your wedding or I can’t guarantee to have your photos in time for you to print for your wedding!
where are you located?
Montgomery, Texas but I travel all over Texas and the United States to photograph love stories.
what do you shoot with?
I shoot with two canon mark iv along with a range of L lenses.
who is your second photographer?
I work closely with a handful of amazing Houston photographers that I will choose from to asist me for your big day!
are polaroids included? do we get to keep them?
Polaroids are offered as an add on. After I scan and upload them to your gallery I will mail them back for you to keep.
is 35 mm included in your packages?
35mm is offered as an add-on with every package and you have the option to add on more film or customize if you want your day or engagements done hybrid or all on film.
how do you back up/store our images?
All images are backed up onto two hard drives and memory cards are not formatted until the wedding is delivered. Once the wedding is delivered, the final gallery will be available to you online 3 years from your event date.
travel fees and travel… how?
These vary on where you’re going. I’d love to chat more about this if you were thinking of going somewhere cool for your photos! I travel a loooooot so I’m always looking for cool spots that would be fun to photograph at. I can definitely help you plan your sessions if you have a specific spot in mind too! I show up to my destination weddings/elopements 2 days prior to the event, always. It gives me time to scout locations and time to find backup plans in case the airlines/weather mess up my travel.
what if I love a place in my city or state that is Parks/Museums/National Parks or State Parks?
It is imperative that you request permission to photograph at these places. National Parks/State Parks and basically any government owned thing require permits which usually take 60-90 days to get. No worries though, if you have questions I can help but it’s fairly easy to obtain and something that is required of the client to do.
